EN 13034:2005 + A1:2009 (Type 6)
European standard that specifies the performance requirements for chemical protective clothing providing limited protection against liquid chemicals. It is primarily intended for garments that protect against light splashes, mists, or sprays of liquid chemicals.
This standard covers Type 6 protective clothing, which offers limited protection against liquid chemicals. The protection is intended for cases where a total chemical barrier is not necessary, such as situations with low-risk exposure to light splashes or aerosols.
PB[6] (Partial Body Protection): There is also a partial body protection variant, labeled PB[6], which refers to clothing that covers part of the body rather than a full suit. For example, aprons, sleeves, or hoods.
